Slack House Organic Farm is a small dairy farm just north of Hadrian’s Wall near the village of Gilsland on the Northumberland / Cumbria border.
We milk about 30 Ayrshire cows and rear their calves. Milk from the herd is used to make Birdoswald cheese which may be mature , smoked or black waxed. We also make a live natural yogurt that we sell in 1kg or 500g tubs. Raw milk is available in 2 pint heat sealed bags ideal for the freezer.
Our produce can be bought from the farm , local shops and farmers markets.
